Business Development Manager

About the Role

At Zephyr Technologies, we’re redefining electronics distribution through innovation, flexibility, and personalized service. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our reach across the U.S. and Mexico by building strong relationships with OEMs, ODMs, and EMS providers.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with experience in the electronics industry—ideally in distribution or as a manufacturer’s rep—who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment. You’ll work directly with engineering and procurement teams to understand their needs and provide end-to-end solutions, from design support to optimized supply chain strategies.

This is a highly autonomous role. You’ll set your own pace, prioritize high-potential opportunities, and be backed by a collaborative internal team that includes field application engineers, logistics experts, and hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEM and EMS customers.
• Build long-term relationships with engineering and sourcing teams in the industrial, consumer, and power sectors.
• Drive the sales process from lead generation to contract closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver technical and logistical solutions.
• Represent Zephyr at customer meetings, events, and trade shows.
• Manage your territory with strategic focus and clear revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (an Engineering degree is a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales in the electronics industry.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of managing accounts and generating new business.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working remotely.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred).
